biography

mike keane
it's been almost 4 years since the release of mike keane's first EP entitled "drive on" and a lot has changed in his musical stylings.

a less produced, raw / mellow style is emerging from the singer/songwriter. though his range is vast mike is moving his vocals to a more subdued, baritone neighborhood. leaving his heavy rhythm guitar strumming style behind he's putting more emphases on his vocals. a good example of this less is more guitar style is his new song "from me". "suzie" shows off a much lower range then you might be used to hearing form mike along with some subtle harmonies throughout the song. both songs are unfinished, unreleased home recordings exclusive to mike's facebook page.

as a performer mike engages his audience with his quick whit, conversational style and sincere and humble attitude so it is no surprise that he keeps eager audiences entertained whether he is an opening performer or the headliner.

william carpenter
was asked in 2005 to join mike on stage. william brings with his alto sax experience influences stemming from jazz, rock, classical and funk.when asked how he became a saxophone player: 'in middle school a classmate and I were arguing of who got the last sax spot. I was closer to the number behind the band director's back, so I got sax.'
